Don't you still have to cut the guitar to install the plug on that pickup?
Im in the same situation. I just bought a new Yairi and I want a Pickup but Im afraid to have a hole cut in a $1400 guitar.
new pickup
Well if you get the "Natural series" you dont have to get anything cut/drilled....Unless...you dont have an "endpin" for a guitar strap...(which is were the "Natural series" are located and installed) then you will have to have some drilling done... but other then that no.
"Mjack26" I understand your whole paying some mad hard earned $$ and then turning around and having some Guitar tech drilling into it....I feel yeah.

Mjazk26 wrote:Thanx for the info. Thats great news. I didn't know the end pin went the entire way through the guitar. How much does it normally cost to get something like that installed and would you trust a place like guitar center to install it?
Around the parts Im from yes, I would trust my Guitar Center...partly because I know all the sales people from the guitar departments. So I've gotten to know there "Tech" he's a cool guy. But I hear some of these horrible horrible stories from other GC "out there" and im like.."Shit that sucks".. so i dunno..I guess you have to make a judgement there. And the rate they have going to install a "Fishman Natural series pickup" is $125.00(labor and all) and the pickup is $110.00 (after tax).
hope this helps!
