I want to buy a Takamine guitar...

yeah i've been thinking of getting the big takamine jumbo 12 string. i was playing one with a drummer and a bassist and didn't really even need any amplification. the sound was huge. it'll prbably be my next toy, or maybe that boss dd-5. we'll see but yeah great guitars.

i dont think id pick a takamine over a taylor.. or even a martin

Yeah I thought that was a no duh statement myself. But if you had a grand, would you buy a high end Tak, or a low end Martin or Taylor, whats the best bang for you buck for a grand you think?

Low end Taylors are just as good as high end Taks....IMHO.

Low end Martins are not as good as high end Taks. Mid range Martins I would say are. Of course this is my own opinion. There is NO definitive answer to which guitar is better.

Whichever guitar is best for you is the only answer you can get.

taylors are the best guitars ive played. from what i can tell if you get a taylor (other than a baby) the only thing that can beat it is another taylor.

ive played some excellent martins for around 1500 canadian
Everybody always asks me how she's doing. Has she really lost her mind? I said "I couldn't tell you, I've lost mine."
