OMG, I never in my life thought I would get to share my opinion of that store with anyone.. Guitar Works is the worst store on earth. Now, I will give that if you are going there and they think you are going to buy something they will treat you nice, but if you go there looking to get customer service beyond sales, you are screwed.andyrice_13 wrote:Cool, Indy. Castleton? Yeah, the guys walking around were really nice to me.. but the people working the checkout were dicks.
Go to a place called "Guitar Works" in Greenwood ( I think..) They're great
They happen to be the warranty repair center for Takamine in IN. I have never been more abused in my life. They mutilated my guitar and tried to pass it off as "adequate work" and eventually I had to just have Takamine send me a replacement. All told, I was without my guitar for almost 6 months dealing with their repair shop and managerial staff arguing with me. And throughout being insulted and challenged by the owner via email through Takamine.
I would not do business with that store ever again. They are more than glad to sell you a guitar and push you out the door, but as soon as you need them to repair a defective product, they do poor work, push it on you, and refuse to reputiate their mistakes.

Btw, you can see the beautiful mutilation of my fretboard here:

And the rest of the pictures in that directory are other angles (because I had to take pictures to send to Takamine) Note all the gouging from the 14th fret up
