I've been playing guitar for the better part of 10 years on an off. I am no pro by any means, but can play fairly well... The problem is I never really dabbled with an acoustic, always electric. Now as I get older, I was less distortion and more tone, so I feel its time to invest in a nice acoustic. Every acoustic I have played has been a cheap model, and very uncomfortable to play for awhile. I don't mind the thick strings, but the necks are what get me. Is there anything with a thinner neck, or is that just the nature of the beast? Also, all the acoustics I have played sound very muddy, which I assume is because they were cheap, or is it because I haven't found the sweet spot, or both?
Sorry for the newb questions, but I don't know where else to ask, and don't want to get scammed in to a guitar that is over priced. Thanks!
