will this work?
i bought a dampit but i don't want to put it in the sound hole because i have a feedback buster...now is there a way that i can put it in the case and it will work the same...thats what i did i put it right where the head with all the tuners are and next to it i put the planet waves humid checker and it said the humidity was up to 48% now...but i don't know if that is just saying that cause it is right next to it...
what do you think? should i just chuck the dampit and get a regular humidifier?..let me know

well any sound hole humidifyer is going to go in the soundhole and you are gonna run into this "problem". it is only 30 bucks to buy a regular humidifyer that way you don't have to keep the guitar in the case, but what you have now should work.HCHaikuWarrior wrote:i bought a dampit but i don't want to put it in the sound hole because i have a feedback buster...now is there a way that i can put it in the case and it will work the same...thats what i did i put it right where the head with all the tuners are and next to it i put the planet waves humid checker and it said the humidity was up to 48% now...but i don't know if that is just saying that cause it is right next to it...

I recently bought this:

And it's working quite well. I also use a dampit, since humidity is huge problem for me right now.

They, meaning Martin, Taylor, etc., should make some high-tech cases that have a humidifying system built into them, where humidity would be dispersed evenly throughout it. Thats my idea. I already have the patent for it so none of yall get any ideas.

You can buy one of these that does what you described.

If I didn't like my Martin case so much (fits like a glove) I might check those out, since this winter has been awful.
