You know i felt the same way about my DL4 until i started playing electric through it. You can get some crazy sounds with it when you have feedback and distortion going but with an acoustic, i think most people would be better off with a dd3 for delays.
I actually used it quite a bit for electric and was just never very impressed. I don't get too crazy with delay and acoustic and I admit that the DD5 does all I need for both acoustic and electric.
