hi, im looking into geting some good recording equiptment... i have a bugit of 350 and i wanted to see if anyone out there had either of these (Fostex mr8MK2 and MXL 990/991 condenser mics)

its online now for 299 in a bundle so it seems like a good deal. Are there any other easy to use recorders that have great quality... also how are these mics, should i get them or spend a little more for an akg preception 200

I have those mics, they are ok. I mean, I got them with a preamp for 99 so i really cant complain. I will say that they distory fairly easily so if your vocals are loud, like mine usually are, you would probably be better off with an SM57.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?
