long straps

long straps

I'm looking for a place that sells long guitar straps. I'm tall (6'-5") and typically use the last hole in what I would consider a regular strap. Not sure if a longer strap would feel more comfortable, but I figured I would try it out if I found a place that sold them or was willing to make custom.

how damn low are you letting your guitar fall? im 6'6" and my strap isnt even close to the end of slack.

I'd say the sound hole is a little above my belly button. But I'm built like a lineman....big shoulders...wear 54" jacket....290lbs.

as am i ;) i was a d-tackle in football =D ... wow i've found a kindred spirit! I ussualy playw ith my guitar up pretty high for better control. where do you live? i know some good places to get stuff like that in MD

I agree with Xoosh. If you're doing anything but strumming, get the guitar up high. Of course, if you just strum it, and that's fine, go as low as you want, I guess.
