sigh
its an inlay...

you people are nuts...
I was just going to say that. I'd kill for an 814 even without any inlays.
no my point was that its not a big deal, who cares as long as it sounds good?

haha. I have never tried to teach other people with it. I think it's funny when people are like, "woah, how do you know where you're playing on the frets?"

Then I can feel cool saying, "magic"

anyway, fretboard inlay schmetboard inlay. i have plain dots on my 414 of DOOM! and i still think it's gorgeous and i love how it sounds. 'nuff said.

why exactly am i nuts? if i am going to spend 2 grand on a guitar i have a right to want perfection. and aside from that, what i do with my own money is my problem.

i also like the look of a blank fretboard... Especially if its nice dark ebony, that is damn sexy IMO. Inlays are pretty cool too though. As long as it sounds good, I'm a happy camper :)

Nothing wrong with spending two thousand on a guitar. Remember an Olsen or a Goodall will cost you waaay more. Best reason I know of to buy a Taylor limited... Great woods, cool inlays, good price.

I talked to Taylor a couple of weeks ago and they said they wouldn't be making any guitars until after NAMM when they will amp production dramatically- with some awesome new guitars they're not releasing info on yet I bet. Mark them words down.
