Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.

Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Found it at Sweet Water for about $200. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/DD20/

Scratch that. Sam Ash, $180. They are really starting to make MF look terrible...

MF has kind of turned terrible. If I buy new online, it's from Sweetwater or Fullcompass now it seems. Granted I'm buying mostly recording equipment and MF's selection of that seems remarkably limited and amateur.

Yeah, i totally agree about their selection of certain items. As far as their prices, the thing that does keep me going back there is the fact that they'll match anyone else, and the fact that I've never paid for next day or 2 day shipping, and I have never had a shipment arrive later than 2 days after I placed my order.

I think that sweetwater is very hard to navigate and find what your looking for, and their prices seem to be the same as MF. And I concur with the price matching thing, call MF if you find a better deal and they will match it!

Anybody have any experience with Loop pedals? I'm torn between the Akai E2 Headrush Delay/Looper Pedal and the Boss RC-20XL Loop Station. The E2 is $50 cheaper, but that isn't really a big deal. Any info or hands-on reviews would be helpful.

I have the RC-20XL and I love it. These kinds of pedals make solo gigs a lot more fun. Unfortunately I don't have any experience with the Headrush. I know that KT Tunstall uses the Headrush and I saw her on some VH1 thing and the performance was similar to people I've heard using the Boss version. I was actually surprised to learn that she used the Headrush and not the RC-20XL. I may get some time tonight and do some digging online to see what the real differences are.

Thanks alot, any other info you find would be great. One thing I did notice as a difference was that you can also use the Headrush as a delay pedal as well which is a pretty nice feature since I don't have a delay pedal.
