Stay(Wasting Time) Help

I am sick of trying to learn the strumming pattern on this song..I am not sure if I really even need to mute at all? Is the tab correct on this site for Stay? It seems as though it may be and I just cannot get it down. Could anyone make a video for this like maybe start out slow and then get up to tempo? I would appreciate it soo much. Thank you..! :cry:
