First thing I ever listened to in the recording section and I must say I like it.
What I heard:
Banjo seems a little behind, and a little out of tune. I did enjoy the fact that there was a mandolin and a banjo, and the guitar and piano added a very solid backround. It's new, but it feels like it needs something. A more solid melody maybe. It's very solid. The thing is, if the banjo is going to be played as the prime instrument (and i know you are new at it, and I am quite impressed) it needs to be played with a little more convidence and variety. But for a two member band, I am very impressed. Keep up the good work.

sounds good, a unique blend of instruments. There are some times when things arent really "tight", but its still really good. I would say mabey work on the mando track(sounds random sometimes), the banjo sounded awesome...especiallly at the end
Interesting song structure too!
Good work

The piano sounded like it was recorded well. What do you use? was there an electric in there as well?

i have a Casio CPS-80s, and i just plugged straight into the recorder with its line out, that piano is a godsend
there is an electric playing with a slide, thats probably one of my favorite aspects of the recording because it serves as a nice lift from the B section back to the A section
