My first electric posting! Listen!

Unread post by Matty Boom » Sun Dec 28, 2003 6:25 pm

As some of you know, I used to into playing the blues. I haven't done much of that recently, but I picked up my electric for the first time in a while and decided to jam "Lenny" out with my little brother, so he's on the acoustic. Anyways, I'm pretty proud of this one, even though I could have fixed some of those little blemishes with a couple extra takes, but who cares. Anyways, tell me what you think.

it was pretty good, but like you said your self, some of the licks were a little less than clean. you never really played the signature riff exactly right, but it was passable and it sounded good, just not as smooth as it could have been. the solo was alright, good solid blues licks but it lacked any real flair, the second guitar solo was better because you turned up the heat real nice.

it was a good job overall. well done

Oh...I see what you're talking about...you can either bend that or hammer-on real quick, I went with the hammer-on because it'd been a while since I played this on an electric...and Stevie has done it both ways

yeah, it sounds pretty good, except the thing that fj said about the hammer on there, just hold it a bit more and emphasize it...sounds good other than that though
