Bull in a China Shop (new orriginal)

hey guys,
i could really use some indepth feedback on the overall style and feel of the song... im thinking about doing a professional recording of this song and adding it to my cd ... it's called Bull in a China Shop.. it's about Vietnam, lyrics may come, thuogh it'd probably be poetry read at the end of the song...

not too concerned with very small details, more of an overall feel, though if any part stands out PLEASE point it out

hey Jon

listening as I type.... the intro with these high notes is cool,then these fast picking progressions sound good too. Then from 1:00 when you start to strum, that sounds like a crazy jam. I liked the end of your tune.

The recording quality was amazing. I wish I could achieve such a good one.

I would like to hear lyrics to it, would definitely kick ass

awesome x, i liek the high beginning notes and that jam at 1:10, awesome. lyrics would be pretty cool, recording quality was incredible...at 150ish it sounds liek you are out of key for a slight moment, everythign else is definitly rocking, i really liek it at 230 and on, very cool...i dont understand what you were sayign about reading the lyrics as poetry at the end??? i dont knwo how that would come out but it sounds liek a good idea...thanks for putting this up...peace

I liked it, awesome build up..
Really groovy tune, I had my foot jumping up and down.
To the end it felt like it got a little too busy...
Around 2:15 was especially good.
I'd like to hear the final product, good stuff Xoosh.

Love it. Overall feel, really good, perfect name for this song. Delicate at parts, then strong and forceful at others. I like it very much

FUCKING awesome! Man, seriously, no suggestions for improvement, except maybe look for a better ending to an otherwise superb performance! Oh, and I don't think you should add lyrics, it sounds like a track which is simply beautiful as an instrumental, just let the guitar do the talking!
Speaking of guitars, what guitar do you have, and what recording equipment are you using?

thanks for the kind words... for this recording i simply went from my taylor 310ce into my computer line-in... as i left all my equipment at school over this break... i typically record with 2 stereo paired octava acoustic condensor mics... into a behringer 32 bit stereo mixer that goes to my digital line-in... you cna hear that recording quality at my website, http://www.eastofbeautiful.com/music.html on my "memento mori" cd.

excuse me for my ignorance, but i felt no emotional relation to this being about Vietnam, unless you meant it to be a very uptempo western instrumental.

other than the sort of opposing themes, i loved it. excellent playing always, and just great overall instrumental.

I'm wondering how it's about Vietnam, since there are no lyrics...

and winplayer is better than winamp.. you can burn cds with media player

VERY nice. First I have to comment on the recording quality, which was superb. The song built very well, and the only advice I can offer is for the ending:
I'm sure you'll come up with some better sort of ending bit, but what I wanted to hear toward the end was a really strong lead part, by that I mean a melodic sort of thing that is very defined, something you could remember and hum, right after you heard it. I think you're completely capable, the fills and lead bits were awesome. The song had a great deal of unity.
Excellent work, this is one I'll listen to again.
