Tripod - Angelfire Replacement

Unread post by jsgksu » Sun Nov 30, 2003 1:21 pm

Any of you tried setting up a Tripod account? I just set one up yesterday, theres nothign to it right now but Im gonna work on it and put some shit up. If you wanna see if heres the link: http://jsgksu.tripod.com It is a lot easier to make a more professional site on here than it is on angelfire and its a hell of a lot less complicated. I dont know if theyre going to have the same bandwith problems that weve all grown to hate from angeilfire but maybe if I put some shit up soon or someone else tries we'll find out. Anyway, any of you ever use it before, what do you think? Anyone gonna try the place out? Let me know your thoughts.

I think he's asking how big is your storage for files, OR how big a particular file can be.

Heres a link for the specs on the sites: http://www.tripod.lycos.com/compare/com ... 04&m_AL=26

Wow, thats a big link, anyway it says the monthly bandwidth is 1GB. Whats is like over at angelfire, does it have a monthly restriction or do they only let so much go at a certain time?

Uh, heres angelfires specs: http://www.angelfire.lycos.com/doc/subs ... 52&m_AL=33

Nother big one, sooo, looks like theyre pretty much the same exact deals with both, so we'll probably have the same problems with tripod as with angelfire, but like I said you can make better pages easier IMO so Im gonna see how tripod works out for a while.
