When He Cries (Folk)

Unread post by GreedylilPig » Wed Nov 05, 2003 1:10 pm

Hey, everyone. One of my brothers recently had a little baby boy and I was inspired to learn this song. It's a folk song written by John Gorka, encompassing a bit of humor and a bit of honest introspection. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

When He Cries

He looks like an angel when he's sleeping
There's a little piece of heaven where he lies
He looks like an angel when he's sleeping
But he looks like Charles Bronson when he cries
He looks like Charles Bronson when he's crying
He doesn't have the mustache but he's trying
and he is content just like a present sent from paradise
but he looks like Charles Bronson when he cries
When he cries

Sounds good man. That is an interesting song. The guitar playing and your voice reminded me of a James Taylor song in a way. Everything sounded good.

Oh also Charles Bronson was the Man!!!
