Looking for Honest
Looking for Honest
Hey, I haven't been on her in quite awhile. Anyways I uploaded a video to youtube a little bit ago, and was looking for honest reviews. This is my most recent song I have written. Anything is much appreciated!

Thanks so much! Well I've been working on another song recently, and I may put that up soon. Or i may record and old one because, I'm not sure about this new one. It may upset people lol.

"If you like pina coladas..." Lol. I guess the title is very misleading.

man, i really enjoyed that. that progression is really nice, and that second chord is the perfect second chord. my initial thought was that that transitional chord made the progression a little too clunkly and less fluid, but it seems to work as the song goes on. a suggestion might be to play through the chord instead of giving it one hit instead of like you're doing now. that bridge has some gorgeous voicings.
this is a really really nice song here. get someone to play with you and play out. your voice is plenty fine for it.

Thanks so much! You know before I played it that way initially i did sustain on the second chord. It is a strange progression to go with the riff. Thanks so much, I am going to record another song I have soon. I got hit with a bout of bronchitis, so it may be a week or two.
Anyways thanks alot for the input, I will try the song again how i had it originally. I played it without the bassy notes before, and the riff was quite different. I'll give it another go. Lol. My girl liked it better before too. And thanks for the compliments on the vocals. I turn 21 in a month, and its gonna be straight practicing till then, so I'll be ready to play at the bar scene.
Take it easy

Pretty cool, very raw.
As a drummer the timing and rhythm drive me crazy, but thats just me. But I think it's cool, keep polishing it up.
