Jazz combo video

Here is one of the jazz combos from CMU. I'm on guitar. We're first in the video, so no need to scroll forward or anything.

I don't know enough about jazz to offer criticism, but your playing is really good. Great job.

i don't mean to offend, but after watching that video I felt inspired to look up some of the "Shred" videos on youtube

Interesting. I've certainly never thought of myself as a "shredder", I certainly don't have the technique :lol:. You don't listen to jazz, do you?

tenor man and bass player are really sick. I liked the A train take, reminds me of what Marsalis did with autumn leaves on one of his albums.

i wouldn't look up "Santana Shreds" if i were you

i don;t know why i was inspired to do so, not that your playing was bad, but no I don't listen to jazz

Cool stuff Cor, solid playing, sweet leg kick you got goin there. Sounds great. I don't listen to as much Jazz as I'd like to. I always enjoy it but never give it much time. Any recommendations?
