This is really far out from my alley, but Dan I can definitely see what you are trying to do with your music and when looking at that I think you are doing a great job at what your doing. As far as losing guitar in some of your music, thats mostly up to your own taste, but I think this would sound a bit awkward if it were dominated by guitar. At least for the last two or three songs you have posted, I think the less guitar has made the song fit better. Like I said this is really far from stuff I typically listen to, but I keep listening so I think that says something about the work your doing. Keep it up man.
