my family and i spent two weeks at my grandma's house in missouri, and the town is small, fairly barren, and full of old people. i got bored quickly, as i knew i would, so i wrote a song and recorded it. sonically, it somewhat reflects the town - barren, a little boring, and rough. i don't think i'll ever touch this song again though. it just served its purpose in the moment. the writing kept me occupied.

Re: original recording
This is the first time in over a year that I visited R&C, and this was the first thread I came to. Good job. Has a ambient almost Death Cab sound to it. I like.

Re: original recording
yes, i am. this recording was done with my mics sitting on my bed and me sitting indian style on the floor, so it doesn't sound as good as my other recent ones though.
