music launcher: it's a sweet deal

Unread post by katie » Wed Oct 24, 2007 3:00 pm

hey you guys -

this just came in from the people that do my music site. Mine's just a hobby for friends and family but they have a nice set up and some of you have expressed interest in my player...

it's under notes...if you click on it more you will find out how to go to the actual site yadda yadda...

I've had a$30 lifetime membership for over five years now...just after mp3.com went under.

this isn't spam. the only reason why I'm taking the time to tell you this is because I know it's a good deal and I want to let y'all know fo' real. my dmb brotherin'

here's to keeping the music real -

the details below:

Hey guys,

I just wanted to shoot out a quick email to let everyone know that the release of the new site is finally almost here. This has been a huge project and I am extremely happy to be so close to publishing the site and letting you guys have a go at it. The main reason I'm sending this message though is to let everyone know that when the new site is launched the membership prices will be going up. This will of course not affect current members as you will stay at whatever price you originally joined the site at, but it will affect new members and that is where you come in.

I am sure that many of you have friends that are dj's or musicians as well and right now in the moments before the new site is launched is the absolute best time for them to join the site. This is the last chance for $30 Lifetime memberships and the last chance for $10/year standard memberships so if you know anybody that you think would enjoy the site, you should do everything you can to let them know that now is the time to join. I am confident that what we have coming is going to blow people's minds and when your friends see the new site I'm sure they are going to appreciate you getting them in the door before the price change!

Other than that, just hold tight and get ready for the future because we are going to blow the lid off this thing!

thank you,

Chris

What's your website, Chris? I mean, do you have a personal website with your own music? Or someone else's personal website I can go to in order to check out the player?

Ah, I see, Chris. I mean Katie ;)

If there is a way to get just the player itself and integrate it into my website (benpezzner.com) then I'll get the membership. But if I can only use it through the musicv2.com page then I think I'll pass.

i believe you can. All it is, is a launcher with a web address attached with your name - for instance mine is:

musicv2.com/launcher/involution

or something like that...

the launcher will still offer a link back to your music v2 page however where you uploaded all the songs. I don't think you can change that. That's where you would upload all your music, etc...

you will have to check it out for yourself. feel free to email chris the designer. he is VERY helpful. a great, great guy.

it's not for everyone.

take care y'all ~
