i dig it, your voice sounds a little better crackly toward the end of the song if you know what I mean, ahaha! By the way, what recording setup are you using? Sounds great! also, this is a great song for fall, tellyawhat. keep it up!
edit: i'm liking this more second time around..good job

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": As long as there's, you know, sex and drugs, I can do without the rock and roll.

Yeah it sounds great, good mix and quality. It helps that the performer is talented. The guitar is good, very intricate and holds up well solo acoustic. Your band should have fun with this one.

You really set up the line "51 fall down" well.

Audio peaks to digital distortion around 3:29, so i don't know if that is fixable. If you have acess to a compressor/ limiter, that would help.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Thanks dudes.

We had a very elaborate analog mixer setup in my audio class.

We used my acoustic's DI, an AKG large diaphragm condenser, two sure KSM 81s for finger noise and bass noise and an audio techna ribbon mic for vocals.

This was all done live.

---------------

Thanks for the commentary on the tune - its just a demo, so the digital distortion doesn't bother me too much. But we're having fun with the three parts of that song.

The intro has shakers, light percussion and ambient guitars, but the funky part has a big wah guitar riff and the chorus rocks the fuck out.

Thanks again for the good feedback!

wow, thanks so much.

i take a lot of time when writing music, hopefully it continues to show. we're starting to get to the point where you can't group our music with anything else really - which is a very, very exciting thing.
