My opinion doesn't matter much around here....but i'm going to put in my 2 cents anyway.

The song actually sounds great and with some fine tuning it can be shaped into a fabulous song. Sounds to me like the intro could lead right into a nice little love song, like you have towards the end. It has a rich sound to it and its really entertaining to listen to, i have listened to it a couple times now.

Questions:

Are you a pianist?

What drum program are you using?

How long did this take?

and

What did you use to record it?

Because i gotta hand it to you man, this sounds great. Writing is really hard but i really like this. Just keep up the good work and keep posting some more stuff. dude its quality!

Sounds kind of like Ben Folds or something. I like it.

First of all, let me just say how disappointed I was when I opened this up and it wasn't a sweet Rob Thomas cover

All that aside, it definitely has some potential in the drum beat, i think you need a really strong structured piano part that takes over the song at about 54 seconds

lose the cymbal crashes too, they tend to make the beat drag

well thanks for the comments... no im not a pianist but i can play some... as for the drums i used garage band and just a standard 49 key midi controller, i also used this on the piano and the low strings after the drum transition.. This was really an improvised piece, i made it up and recorded it in less than an hour. Believe it or not i used garageband to do everything for this song, i just used the audio input on my mac with a 1/8" to a 1/4" converter and plugged right in for the guitar parts. Thanks again for the critiques, keep them coming and ill keep the songs coming.
