my bands preview of new album. *update*

Unread post by bassman462 » Mon Oct 01, 2007 10:59 pm

My band Terminal Viskacity recorded over the summer, and it looks like it's finally mastered and we're starting to show this first track around entitled Separate Away, and thought I'd share it.

We just added new songs to the myspace so I wanted to get some feedback on them, in addition to Separate Away we added the songs, The Kings, Goodbye Good Luck, and Danger.

loved it, as i'm a sucker for anything with some horns in it. Good stuff.

Surprisingly generally impressed, bassman. I'd never listen to it, but I bet someone would.

Whoa I didn't know you had stuff like this.
I have a friend who's big on ska. I personally listen to it only on occasion. But this is quality music right here. Usually ska bands put on good performances (high energy, especially with the brass) or at least the ones I've seen. Hope to hear more from you.

I'll have to give this a listen when I get home. Looking forward to it.

thanks for the positive news, I'll have to pass it on to the rest of the band. and ya, I know the small sets they've done at my school the past two battle of the bands were pretty high energized, or shows in downtown portland were not as much considering that they stage space was really small, but we still got people into it, and a friends birthday was pretty high energy. I've never been to a ska show sadly though, participated in a few though.

I remember when ska was cool. That was a pretty awkward 10 minutes

Really cool, bassman!

reminds me of reel big fish or the bosstones

just got a bit sloppy sometimes, but i think that's nothing that won't be straightened out as you practice more

also, i'm not a big fan of the excessive clapping

but other than that, really good job :)

there was clapping in there that wasn't actually suppose to be in there, but it just kind of kept itself in there I guess.
