My brother came up from ga. Him and I put together a realy quick song. Thats him on the vocals. Am the one playing guitar. The guitar is realy simple just one rythem all the way though. But thats how him and I like to play. So anyways I would like to know what you think.

I liked it a lot. I thought the vocals were great and the singer had a great voice but IMO you should lose that effect you put on the vocals. The effect makes to hard to hear what he is saying. The guitar riff was sweet. Good job for doing this real quick.

not a fan of all the effects. don't get me wrong, i love to play w/ effects, but it makes this song sound like it crawled out of the "songs we want to forget" pile of the 80's. too much reverb and...something else i think on the guitar and if you're going to put delay on the vocals, it's not a good job to put it on the whole song.

nothing in the song really caught my attention as awesome, but honestly, it was hard to really get into the song to try to pick out the parts i liked because of the effects.

sorry for the hard words, but take them as constructive.

You walk a tightrope with effects. they definitely enhance some things but if overused they will detract from what is really a good song. I think you have a good song on your hands but the effects are overdone. Dont use delay on vocals for the whole song. Use reverb. You can use delay on parts that are particulary difficult to sing or on notes that you really want to hold for a long time.

The guitar playing is good and i like the way its played but again the effects are a bit much. Out of curiosity did you use a Line6 toneport?

Anyways, i would love to hear this a bit undressed cause i really do think you have a good song here.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Thanks I hear ya on the effects. The more i listen to it the less he could of used on the delay. Plus he has a good voice he dont realy need to add all that fancy stuff. So I hear ya on the effects less next time. :)
