Gervais on Rosa Parks "she was arrested but then that law was changed- but she didnt stop there, she started sitting in the seats saved for disabled people. unbelavable, she talked to the driver when the bus was in motion- did she have the correct change ready? - did she bollox!"

LIOG was very cool. Overall, it was pretty good. There were some problems here and there, but very slight ones (like in the intro and mini jam, missing some notes here and there). And I heard some wrong notes a few times in the end jam, but nothing major. And great drumming! I thought for a second that was Carter on set! I'll have to take a listen to Bartender later b/c my comp is freezing up. Good stuff. Keep it up.

i guess you mean i dont really play the chord at the end of the verse riff, i dont know why i dont

the bit i liked that i sort of added was the funky bit of the outrojam. but when you only have 2 people playing it can get dull (even with such a good drummer)

the plan is to gather all our songs, get them out on campus and find some other people to play songs with,... then, with a bit of work = "UK's first dmb tribute band"

crash into me !
Listening to it now. You play the main riff flawlessly, except for the last part, where you change to the open low E string, it sounds like you hit some other note instead, maybe the A string or something, it just doesn't sound right. And again, I love the drumming! I've always loved the drums to this song. The rhythm of the guitar sounds a bit off in some places, and you flub a tad during the 'crash into me' part, but it's nothing big. All in all, I thought it was good. Just work on those parts you had a bit of trouble with and you'll be golden.

Listening to LIOG. Sounds pretty good man. Timing in that bridge part was off, but I think that's what you were talking about with the mini-jam mess up.

not bad, maybe need to concentrate harder on the beat your drummer laying down. You fell off the beat a number of times. Remember that half the sound dave creates is rhythmic muting, Id like to hear more of that from you

Please don't do that.
Firstly, you'd be a tribute to a band that no one in this country knows about.
Secondly, tribute/cover bands are stupid.
Since you've got musicians that are willing to jam with you, make the most of it to write your own material and get a gig.

maby, or it could be frigging sweet playing music that we know is good and we like, obviously we would do other stuff aswell, but could / will be sweet.

plus, you could always take my place for a couple of songs if we play in london............. (TBillys ears probally just perked up)

on the whole i dont like tribute acts, but dmb songs are just a good framework to jam around,

i agree dmb are not big here, but i think they are slowly gathering pace, and put it this way, if i knew their was a dmb tribute in the Uk, id see a show, plus im at Uni with like 15,000 people so we could get some people listening. now i just need to paractice the guitar more, but we certanly have 10-12 songs pretty tight.
