Somebody should give me a listen..

Unread post by m98ter » Sat May 24, 2003 12:54 am

And tell me if this little guitar piece I came up with today is cool enough to have a song built up around it. Now that summer has come, all of my bandmates from college are gone and considering that im our lead rythm and all around song creater, I dont have anyone to give me input. Its the only song on the page as of now, and its only a real short one minute snippet of how the guitar would go. Thanks a million. And everyone says that we're Dave like...I just hope not too much! I think I've been listening to too much WWYS and LIOG...oh well :)

Thanks a ton. If I get some time today, I may do a longer one....althugh in my mind thats about all it would be cept longer. I just play rythm, and I have to leave some room for my other guitarist. But, it seems worthy of enough of supporting its own song?

m98er,

dude, that was pretty tight!

I don't think it sounds davish at all. I find myself thinking that about alot of riffs I come up with too, but I guess it's just because I study his music more than anyone elses, so it's always in my head. But on the flipside if you can write a dave-calibur *piece* that's not too bad either!

& ditto on the sweet slides

peace

Thanks for the positive feedback man. I guess its good enough to build a song around after all. I was worried it would be too repetitive. But, thanks for the positive feedback.
