Recording from last friday

Unread post by jonla12 » Wed Mar 15, 2006 1:27 pm

Hey guys, this is a pretty crappy recording I got on my computer from a gig I played last Friday night with a friend of mine. Let me know what you guys think. I'm the guy playing steel pan.

I really dig that sound man. I think you should have stuck to Jimmy Buffet-esque songs with that steel pan. I think the djembe or bongos or whatever that is, whoever is playing those really needs to practice. I don't know how much I was digging that. It wasn't bad though.

Setlist?

lol the guy playing congas just met us that night and asked if he could guest on a few songs. We'd never heard him before and he doesn't normally play with us. We do play some Jimmy Buffett-type songs but I'm just trying to extend the pan into other realms of music. Thanks for your suggestion though! The setlist was:

All Along the Watchtower
Untitled*
It Goes From Here*
Thunder Road
Everyone's Fault*
Blues Jam>
Born to Run
