your main guitar rhythm is off - although i like the sound of it overall

Is the rhythm off or different from the original? I know its differnet then the song but it sounded goo to me.

souned good to me, keep up the good work, add in some vocals man. Once I get an acoustic electric, and some mics and everything I'm going to try and do AB with piano, guitar, and drums.

ya i had alot of trouble trying to get the rythm guitar like the recording so i extended the rythm some like dave does when he does some of his acoustic stuff (like bartender on acoustic has a more rythmic sound to it then the studio version so that was where i was trying to go)

edit: i listened again and i think i know whats wrong, i slow down a little bit in the second part. But on the other hand this was just a quick record and mix to see if it would sound good, i might work on a full version today seeing as i dont have anything to do. I need to work out how i can make the (chorus?) part more fuller (where he does that little riff and says "I hold on to..."). It would sound weird just to have vocal and a little riff. And another thing, what do you guys think about the violin part, there are 2 tracks of the violin riff, one played just like it and the other played on the upper stings to sound lower. together they sound kind of like a 12 string, what do you think (the second guitar comes in a little later on)?

Here is a clip of just the violin part so you know what i mean about layering it. Do you think if i work on a full version i should keep the double violin idea or just the one higher/normal one?
