Need suggestions for multi-track composing software for PC!

Unread post by Jonny123 » Wed Jan 05, 2005 3:10 pm

I'm starting to get into the multi-track recording/composing thing on my PC...and I'm in search of a better program to do so.

Right now I have Acid 4, which I believe is probably outdated.

I know a lot of people will be quick to suggest Pro Tools, but this is out of the question - I have WINDOWS XP, and Pro Tools is not compatible with this OS for some ungodly reason.

So does anyone have any other suggestions? Is Acid decent compared to the other alternatives?

Thanks in advance!
