consistently for about 4 years but I've played a little bit on and off since I was about 12 or 13. I'm 22 now so that would mean I've been "playing" for about 9 years but I only really count the past 4 years since I started playing Dave and became hooked on guitar.
good, and you?

7 years....and I'm still mot happy with my ability.....I am always finding something to improve...

Would it be odd if I were to start taking lessons this far along? I haven't taken one and would like to know more theory because that seems to be the next step for my playing...

3 and a half years give or take...I tell you...what made me improve the most was learning to play dave exactly right....now I feel I can learn anything with ease...except for lead stuff

even though im not as talented as most on this board i can do a lot for the amount of time ive been playing. its fun to play dave in front of people who have been playing for years and make them feel bad.

2 minutes, 4 seconds, 3 ms. Talk about MADD skillz. Honestly people why keep up with such specifics? Anyways about 5 years give or take. the first 1.5 was learning how to play the sitar..(what a shitty instrument btw), but I sucked at that so my dad started to teach my other brother instead...no loss there. But then after finding out about the guitar i jacked up my hand...so tat sucked also.
Yes, I am Indian and I play the guitar. Believe It.
