need some interesting and unique chords

Hey yall i finally completed my song and need help with music for it....i was looking to have a kinda upbeat sound that kinda sounded like the 3.26.03 soundcheck from dmb. Any thoughts on upbeat chords and or lyric advice would be totally great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

any chord is upbeat depending on how you play it.

i dont think anyone should ask for chords for their own songs. You should write the song yourself man. Just look at the scales and come up with your own chords. i think you know if a chord is major or minor or dim by its sound.

major- happy
minor- mellower
dim- evil!

but like i said, anything can be upbeat.
Go look up chords andsuch.

Or, be a dave... and makeup chord shapes andplay them anywhere.

diminished 7ths don't sound upbeat at all nomatter how you try to play them. Think train horn.
