I recorded this last night at 2 in the morning..on my 130 dollar acoustic. I wanted to record it on my electric which is WAAY better.. but i was too lazy.
Here ya go.
Its sloppy at times and theres one or two hideously wrong notes in there...
The buzzing in the back is horrible.. but i figured out a way to record and not get that sound. My next post in this forum will be higher quality/not rushed/and much better..
I was just wondering..
is my improv boring? like.. too repetative?

try to make it more structured. and in one key...etc, it sounds like you are just all over the place.

try like,

intro
part 1
part 2
part 1
part 2
part 3
outro

I like your way of being structured. Im gonna use that when i redo this. Except.. i believe it IS all in the key of E..
and ya..
it is all over the place.
but for playing for only a year and 4 months.. its not bad right?

I don't think length of time is important past like 4-6 months, because people progress at different rates

just to start, try to do it in ABA form -

part A
part B (may want to change time sig, key sig)
part A (back to original time/key)

see: sugar will, you never know, rapunzel, etc all have that structure.
