It sounds pretty good. It actually reminds me of a Grateful Dead song. I can't remember which one though. Nice work, and nice guitar.

Where did ya get the standard tuning version of it?
Yes, I am Indian and I play the guitar. Believe It.

Alright here's what I got out of it -

Pretty solid cover. Your guitar sounded clean the whole way through. As far as improvement goes, I dont know if its just me, but it seems like the first two chords (intro) are lacking some life. I dont have a copy of the song with me cause Im visiting my parents right now, but it sounds a little too clean. Like its missing some twang, if you know what Im sayin.

Now, I dont really sing either, so I understand, but there's not enough going on in this song for it to be just an instrumental. The guitar work was pretty damn good, but that song really needs vocals for it to work. It lost some life at times, especially at the pauses (1:30-1:45). But other than that, great job. I was impressed. Now please dont ban me. 8)

I think that you did a fine job... it seems to me that the "Dave" plays it a bit more funky, you know with a little bit of that dirty funky slap-pop... You start to get the groove about mid-way through... I agree with Mr. Green above me, the tune is not strong enough to be a solo guitar piece, but I don't sing either, so who am I to talk? Over all not bad... now please don't ban me either!!

Cheers!

You should post more often Jared , those covers are good , but the echo part when you're muting is kinda like buggin me , maybe its just me , im drunk too so don't pay attention to me today , like you would anyway  hehe ....

Besides that its good , but i do have to agree with the rest , this cover needs vocals :)

Please don't ban me either lol

I'll be honest....I was a little, ummmmm ok, a LOT drunk when I played the song so that's probably why I couldn't get into the groove of it for too long.

As for vocals, you are all right. These songs, my covers, do need vocals. I have someone to do the vocals for me but I just gotta get them to do it. I do really wish I could sing, it would make my covers sound do much better. I'll get a cleaner copy of this up later when I get back from skiing....PEACE

Busted Stuff also seems kinda plain when its done solo. I'm not saying its your fault, but its hard to play a song like that that is kinda bare. Hard to get the rhythm of. But it's definitely one of their cooler songs. I think I'm still pissy about how JTR never made the final cut, god only knows why.
