rock solid introduction. only suggestion would be to pluck the verse notes a little more gentle... sounds like you're being slightly over aggressive on such a delicate verse run. Chorus sounds beautiful. (0:55 or so). Your voice is AWESOME (especially your little improv raises in your voice at the end of lines... done very tastefully and beautifully). Same as with most of us, your voice could use a little more dynamic in energy like when you sing "Oh Daddy Oh..." that's a plea from Jesus (no need to get into details here). But as i said, i have no real criticisms i think you did a beautiful job with the song. Something my mom told me (she was a coffee house singer, and a wedding singer in college) is that for every cover song you do, do something to make it as much your song as it is the orriginal writers song... Find something to get into to really put your heart into it. But that's such a minor thing and i think you did such a beautiful job with this cover i have no complaints at all!
GREAT JOB!

first off....FUCK YEAH ON THE DAVESPEAK!...lol...but wow...that was pretty good...the only thing I can think of is the rhythm on the "love, love, love" part was a little off at times, and maybe speed up the main riff a lil(but that's just preference)...and when I play I add a little (4th string,4th fret) action after the bminor chord pluck...as for the singing...I don't have any advice for you as it sounds great already, and will only get better as you keep practicing. good job brotha!
what's up guys, thanks a lot!! yeah sorry about the rhythm...i noticed all the same things you guys did..all the improvements i mean...cause i recorded that three nights ago, the same day i learned it, so i fixed all that shit now..thanks for the advice, thats why i put my songs up! and hey juineaux--yeah i think i sound almost exactly like the guy from dispatch..i wish i could play "the general" so i could sing it but i just cant...haha..i'll try and post some more covers up sometime.peace ya'll
