An original...

Unread post by MWR » Thu Sep 16, 2004 4:03 am

I just signed my lazy ass up for some free hosting and I wanted to share this new tune.
It's not finished though and the improv(everything except the main riff) gets a little stale at times. The tuning isn't helping me mix things up either.
Any advice, help, or thoughts is much appreciated.

It sounds nice right now, man. I think you should go forward with developing this song and see how it turns out. Maybe even turn it into a sonata. That'd keep it interesting.

wowzers

that was terrific

i really don't have a whole lot to critique except that yes, the improv loses its luster a bit near the end...and the improv when the main riff kind of settles down in a few spots didn't really blow me away, but it could have

that was great though...thanks for putting that up

Jesus Christ. Are you kidding me?! And you guys call me a good guitar player? This is incrdible. I have Wishing Well on my iPod, and I listen to it more than you think.

Daaammn. I love this stuff.

I would love to hear more of you stuff. I'd buy a cd definitely.

I'm literally laughing because this is so good. When I try to write songs, this is what I go for, and I cannot for the life of me accomplish what you had in those two seconds. Incredible, truly incredible.

Thanks everyone for the comments and support.
I've played this thing to death for the past week trying to get it finished but I'm still stuck with what you've heard.
Hopefully I'll can finish it up and get a decent recording done soon.

I have free hosting at the moment so I'm trying to avoid bandwith problems by putting one up at a time. I do have some older stuff with lyrics but the instrumental stuff has been my main focus recently.

Thanks again. The kind words keep me from going insane with writers block.
