play and sing?

Unread post by mangold » Sat Sep 11, 2004 4:00 pm

i need help with playing and singing at the same time. I can do it with songs that is just basic chords but i cant with nearly any of daves songs, espescially songs such as "so much to say" and "what would you say" that have repeated riffs behind the lyrics, i can play either of those songs perfectly, (i can even play SMTS with just my pinky) so not knowing it well enough is not the problem. Everytime i try to come in (vocally) i either slow down the riff or the lyrics. Any tips?

talk while you're playing, it'll help you develop that dual coordination...first talk, then you'll be able to start to sing

it comes
B+P by offer only...thank you

Start out by thinking the lyrics, then whisper them, then gradually go higher and higher.
