new music thread

Unread post by ticohans » Thu Feb 13, 2003 10:19 am

Ok, so I've gotten a couple pm's in which people have said it might be better to post another thread with my stuff in it as the old one's getting kinda big and it's hard to find stuff in it, so here it is.

My Billies cover is at http://www.davidson.edu/personal/halarson/home.htm

Along with it are a couple new songs that I had posted on my secondary site a while ago. Dumpty is the same recording as before, so nothing's changed there. However, the recording of Surprise is new, and is more complete. I'm going to be going into the studio with a friend here and will have the opportunity to really do a bang up job of a demo. We're talking strings and everything, whatever I want. While I have an idea of what I'm going to do (I'm thinking Dumpty) it's also good to get other people's opinions, so if you have them, it would be great if you could share them.

Finally, also on the site is an older studio recording of one of my older songs. It's a little more rock in feel, and it's one of the favorites of people who know my stuff. Be warned that at the end of the first chorus, there's a bit of skipping, but it works itself out quickly.

Thanks in advance for the listening and feedback!!

I listened to 'em and they're very good. Dumpty is still my favorite, but You Are Mine is great as well. Surprise will take a few more listens to get my head around, but its pretty cool. very creative and I respect that.

did I mention I suck at critiques.
good, and you?

I listened to it and liked it. Your voice fits in very nicely with this style. No real complaints, except that it is missing some energy compared to your originals. Great Job :D
