Sounds great, cricket. is that 5/4 timing for the verses? :? I like it a lot though. And damn the guitar sounds great! sounds like new strings and is it a Taylor? sounds kind of like one. You hit that tough vocal part at the end - "BOLD and bright!!!!" great job, man.

Your Billies was excellent too. my guitar sounds like shit compared to yours. my cheap mic can't handle my guitars boomy lows, but our guitar playing is very similar. I did mine slower though.

peace,
Ken

is the extra beat in every measure on purpose? The chorus is right on, but there seems to be an extra beat, makes it really choppy.....but everything else is cool. The guitar does sound nice.

Cave.......real good job, very impressive. Your guitar sounds fantastic! It seems every song you post, your guitar sounds really full and crisp. I don't know how you do it, but I'd kill to get such good quality.

As for a review, I gotta say, though, that there definately was something 'off' about the beat during the verse. It sounds like you hesitate just enough in a certain spot that seems to throw the rhythm off just a bit. No doubt it's a small adjustment I'm sure you could make. I'm really not looking to nitpick your post, but I bet if you listen to your post and try to play the song in your head, you might hear it.

But again, everything about the song is very good....far better than I could make it sound, so don't take me the wrong way. :D

Ok Cave, great job first off...I like it, I even like the funky timing (sometimes I will do that purposely to a song when I am just sitting around - mess around with it in different timings that is)...the guitar sound and overall musicianship is impressive, I really enjoyed this one :D

the only thing is in some verses, the vocals sound a bit forced... :? ...the best way I could explain is that it almost sounds like you are trying to do a Dave cover as the lead singer from Incubus would...but during most of the chorus, it sounds real original and tight man  Good work

That's ok I like Incubus
That also probably stems from me not being a good singer...no vocal lessons...just out on my own....it would be cool if someone could say how I can get better along with how I'm doing it wrong

I don't think there is any real way to train; most people don't have a vocal trainer...like myself...all that anybody could suggest, would be to sing along with ALOT of different songs and try to feel and matcxh the notes, but whatever you do, don't try to sound like them or you will never develop your own sound! Sing alot and play alot ... thats all :D

Peace,
elixirs sound like shite on my guitar. and so do the bronze strings on there right now. the only strings that go with guitar are phos/bronze mediums. I need a new guitar. Can't wait to buy my Larrivee L-03

good, and you?
