Check them out and PLEASE give me some feedback...
Penny For Your Thoughts (Peter Frampton): Played out of open D tuning
The Rain Song (Led Zepellin - Page): Played out of ... D/G/C/G/C/D
Let me know what you guys think...I love both of these songs and they are just great to bust out for a crowd!

I enjoyed Penny For Your Thoughts more even though it was short. That's a great tuning eh, it sounds awesome!!
The Rain Song is more impressive, though. It sounds like it would take some time to learn. great song, great work.
peace,
good, and you?

Since the rain song is one of my all time faves...I'd have to go with that one. Even though they were both really good. Impressed.
I learned the beginning of the rain song once...but tuning the guitar up and down and up and down again is a bitch.

Gotta get me a second guitar.

Fire....you stole my thunder with Rain Song. That's one I was planning on posting sometime soon. I find it to be a very boring song when played the way it's supposed to be played, so I've been improvising it for a while at a much faster tempo.....I may still post it sometime.
As for your version, it sounded great. Everything you post sounds really good.....very crisp with great strumming/picking. Ever try Bron Y Aur Stomp off of Led Zep III? Now that is a fantastic piece on the guitar.

I just looked at the tab and apparantly it's in C-F-C-F-A-F tuning so I think I'll leave this one up to firedancer.

picking is too fast for me in the beginning, anyway. I could probably get onto the strumming though. sounds like fun

I have the Bron Y Aur tab in a Guitar World Acoustic mag......if you're interested I'll scan it, make it a .jpg, then email it to you. All you'd have to do is just print it. Let me know....

songs sound good fire...you're probably LUB for LUB the best guitarists on these boards...I don't think anyone on these boards can match your guitar work, (esp on the minarets and typical covers).

well thanks for he kind words and support Jason, but to say such things is nonsense; there is an overabundance of great and imporeasive work on these board, and an unmatchable veriety of styles, that is why I love this site so much

But thanks for the affirmation man
