The Scotish band "Travis" plays a pretty good acoustic version of "Hit Me Baby One More Time"...your "buddy" probably lifted it from them.

yeh keep the ideas comming, what if we required that you have more tracks than just 1 guitar and vocals(if any)...like make it reall creative with some mute strums or like percussive hits or soemthing??

maybe, its just simple barre chords, I found the tabs pretty easily a while ago on the net just searching for britney spears tabs or something

what about the beatles?? while my guitar gently weeps? or something like dispatch or or maybe phish, the song "waste" is excellent lyrically and theres alot you can do with it...maybe even howie day.....anyway keep the suggestions comming and see if we can all agee on something...peace

Nothings wrong with Prince, but most people can't stand him...hes an amazing frontman though.
