Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

New Recordings (clips of various Godin settings)

Unread post by Pickles » Thu May 13, 2004 7:33 pm

here are 4 new short recordings that i was asked to make to show the capabilities of my Godin. im a bit upset because my mic distorted the clips a bit so its not perfect.

everything is played out of my Marshall MG15CDR (electric amp). youll notice a few mess ups and in the distortion clip you might hear me cough several times heh.

and now for the clips:

http://angelfire.com/rock3/mystuff41/Acoustic.mp3 - Acoustic Clip

http://angelfire.com/rock3/mystuff41/Blend_example.mp3 - Blend - only made to show what you can do with the balance knob when blending the acoustic and electric pickups

http://angelfire.com/rock3/mystuff41/Cl ... picked.mp3 - A couple fingerpicking riffs, each having the opposite side of the tone knob

http://angelfire.com/rock3/mystuff41/Di ... ortion.mp3 - A few different distortion settings

anyway, all in all im not too happy with them. but oh well. youll notice it doesnt sound perfectly acoustic by the way, after all it is through an electric amp. but its pretty darn close. and when you play it through a PA or an acoustic amp its perfect ;)

edit: angelfire sucks. copy/paste the links into a browser window to download the files
Sort Of A Protest Song wrote:I don't know if this is shameful or not, but after waking up in a girls bed that was really high up off the ground (almost top-bunkbed type high) I told her that if I fell off I'd "come back to life as a white wizard". I was still a bit tipsy. She did not laugh.
