Oh i do indeed sing classical music. I take voice lessons. I sing a lot of italian stuff. lol i think some of it sounds really cool. I sing Bass and my teacher is amazing! He sings so good.... But yeah I sing all different types of music. I don't understand when someone says I'm hiding behind peoples music.....I'm not so sure what i'm hding behind. lol. I love to share my music as well as my covers with people. Some people like it others....not so much. But i still love it any way. This Thursday I played my original "Where is God" for a group of people who were fans of Dave. They seemed to like it. I also played a cover of Devon Allmans Honeytribe's "Nothing to be sad about" BTW check those guys out at

But I really love what I'm doing now. I'm going to be recording later tonight with my brothers help...so maybe tommorrow I'll have my other originals up....maybe not though. Thanks for the critiques.....I changed a couple chords in that original so it sounds more "Jack like" But the chorus stilll remains the same :wink:

Stop calling people out for being tough on the internet and they act this way because they get to hide behind a screen. Are you never exposed to people in real life? Are you seriously that much of a sheltered spoiled asshole?

Your music sucks and if I had the equipment to record, I'd upshow you.

Interesting dude. I didn't call anybody out in that post dude. I talked about how i sing classical music, i changed that song, i talked about sharing my music, and i talked about my favorite band. But if you want to think that. Thats chill with me. Your right i was an asshole on the other thread. I know that. I sunk down a level or two because some people were a little aggresive in their posts. But i should have never gotten angry.

So i was talking about something else and you blindly brought it up. My music sucks. OK. Any particular thing i could improve on? And i'm sure you could show me up. Looks like your a lot older then me. I'm 16 and i have been playing for two years. I don't know how long you have been playing but yeah i'm absolutly positive you could own me in music. Hopefully one day i can hear your music. What type of music do you play. Rock? Jazz?

Also i am very exposed to people. I meet new people at every gig or any other event. I love to make friends and i love talking with people. Its great, its very fun for me. I meet all types of people. I am greatful to the people i've meet for all the help and support i've gotten. Now you said i was spoiled. But i'm really not. I work hard at what i do. I practice everyday. I saved up and now me and my dad split my equipment. I told him that he gets %30 percent of all money made at a gig. I love to play for my dad too. I like to make him proud and i'm grateful hes helped me.

When i said "ALL YOU PEOPLE ARE ASSHOLES!!!!1) I said that in defense of a guy that was getting slammed because he likes to play Daves music. So when people are calling him a tool, douche, and fag i think that meets the criteria of an asshole. Respect him because he is doing something he loves and he has the guts to put it on the internet for people to ridicule. If that makes me a victim i guess you just have a torched view on life my friend.

If you want to be an internet gladiator tell someone like Reinier to die because thats what they do. The're jerks to people. Its wrong to hate in such a manor. So call people what ever you want and say whatever you want. Sink a couple levels down.

Uhh... everything was promptly called for by the people on the boards against the person's cover. The guy is a damn toolbag. And you being a victim wasn't in reference in posting for something you love to do on the internet (because that takes "guts*"). It was in reference to you always trying to fight everyone over your outspoken views.

Also, who cares if people insult others over the internet? Usually it's the point isn't fully established, or usually it doesn't even fucking matter because no legitimate connection will ever be established- but most of the time, it's downright deserved.

Also, hating people in a huge house is quite classy.

It does take guts to put music online. I'm not trying to be a spokes person for myself here. I'm saying in general its actually quite scary. When you write a song its almost like part of you that jumped into a song. So an original is a picture of yourself and your emotions. SO i guess thats scary putting it up. For covers theres not as much fear. It can be hard if you try to prefect your covers and you put them up and people tell you "There not so good." I guess thats why its scary. But for me, I like putting my music up. IDK why.

i couldn't help but wonder how this thread made it to 5 pages. ridiculous. here's a tip, don't respond and this thread will inevitably disappear. you will learn this tactic when you get out of high school.

I haven't been around very much even reading anymore, but I thought I'd just mention this is why. I know none of you probably know me, but this board which used to be awesome and filled with people trying to help and listen and just experience music through their connection with other people by DMB has really devolved into a sophomoric flame fest.

The guy he posted is pretty good, and yeah he sounds like Dave in the song, I think it's neat he probably wont take off sounding like that but hey that’s music. Pat man, you used to be the man inspiring everyone on the board to play good clean it up and all that I still think your sound is awesome, but what are you thinking with the instahate on ANYones music. You know it comes down to doing what makes you happy in music, for you that is creating, for others its just playing your heroes tunes.

For the sake of this board, which I have enjoyed very much and has helped me more then any sets of lessons or anything I hope you guys can all calm down. Oh, and please don't call me out on MY ORIGINALS because I am not very good, I'm sure everyone is super awesome compared to me and all that, but that doesn't take away the ability I have to post what I please. All I am saying is lets keep it civil guys, you know, it is a message board so relax.

Take it or leave it guys just thought I'd throw it out there.

(This post in NO WAY condones the actions of SRV who I feel is equally ridiculous)
