but while im still small time I can say that i've opened up for guys who have opened up for

Dave Matthews, John Mayer, CCR, Tim Reynolds, Maroon 5, The Wallflowers.

So I'm just climbing that ladder.

Well it's March 1st and I only have one entry. I can either extend the deadline indefinitely (until I get 5 entries) or I can call off the contest. Thoughts? Comments?

lets make it flexible. im going home for break this upcoming week so i really cant post anything. being that this contest involves songwriting as well i think its ok to be flexible. we could make it not so much a contest as a presentation. lets see what everyone came up with...

Good call. I think people may be more comfortable posting if we just turned this into a presentation thread and scrapped the contest. Later on if we have a lot we can vote on them, but for now let's just consider this the thread where if you happen to record a song with lyrics called "Never Knew," you'd post it in here.

i guess i have to quit life my day was more busy than expected... im pretty sure everytime i say im gonna do something on these boards thats like a prerequisite for it not getting done...

all im gonna say is ill get it up eventually whether it makes the presentation/contest w/e or not

i lost my 1/4 to 1/8th converter and therefore had to record my song as part of a video on my digital camera and right now its up for approval
