i dunno, it kinda seems like judging would be easier if we all covered the same song. then again, it would get boring to listen to like 50 different versions of the same thing. however, somebody might choose something freaky hard and win it just by pulling it off. just some thoughts. i guess since this is the first time we're doing this, we ought to just say everybody gets to pick their own song to encourage people to submit stuff. the judging sounds good, etc. im definitely looking foward to it.

I think that for the first round, so everybody has a fair chance to flaunt their skills in what they like to play, we should be able to choose...then, when everybody get a good grasp at us at our best, they get to see us at our most "off-balance" time; this can be useful in determining who did the best in both ways while giving a fair chance to those AT FIRST who may SUCK at the song...let us show our marks first in other words...

p.s.
I have been using (or over using) "..." forever so...don't poke fun

that's a good point. but if everyone gets to choose a there own song, is there gonna be a degree of difficulty factor or is it just whatever people like the best?
good, and you?

For the second round, we must all do the same song after taking a pole of what the musicians agree on(???)

I think the no other instrument policy should be placed so that everyone who may only play one thing have a fair chance...
