no wonder the two songs ( trippin and so much to say ) sounded fishy,

what key did you Detune to? because i tried playing along in standard tuning and it's off, so i'm assuming you detuned to match your voice?

sorry i seem to have pissed you guys off so bad, i would have responded earlier but my computer's been down. if he had wanted praise, i would have just told him all the stuff he did well, but his post sounded like he wanted to know what aspects of the song he could work on. sorry again...

I just reread it, it wasn't bad at all, just your opinion, you didn't flame or say it was terrible, you just said what you thought in a respectful manner, no need to apologize to anyone.

waffle_house_jam wrote:overall, not bad. you really need to work on the main riff, though, it seems like you're hitting the bass slides way too hard, and not letting it blend together. voice was pretty good, you were on key and stuff.
Now, I see what he is talking about....cus the low E is dropped to D the string is looser so it sounds more boomy i.e sounds like you are hitting it too hard..

dude, waffle...don't be apologetic...I told you that i appreciate the fact that you took time and listened to it in the first place, it's just when you criticize show me what you mean...you can't just say that I hit it "way" too hard and that I "really" need to work on it, and thats it...maybe I was wrong but the way I took it was a "2" out of a "4"(less than 50%, it sucks)....i mean give me something to look at or hear so I can get your view point..because as of right now,you are the only one who put "fair" out of 13 other musicians who I think have just as good of an idea of Dave as you do, plus are the only one who knows what you are talking about in the first post...please inform us...later.
