Hey guys, I redid some of the vocals and I think it sounds a little better...different at least. I redid vocals for all of the songs on there actually but this is the one I'm most concerned about right now. It's still really frustrating to be able to hear what I want it to sound like in my head, then listen back and hear what it really sounds like. It's definitely a lot more trial and error than I expected, but I'm still having fun with it. Anyways I wanted to see what you guys thought about it. Do you think it sounds like its going in the right direction? wrong? or same? I put the first one up on sendspace for anyone who is willing to take the time to listen to them both. I really appreciate it. I have had some ridiculous insomnia lately which means Ive had alot of time to write, so hopefully I can find some time to record and have at least a song or two up this weekend. Thanks again.

Here is the link to the old one.

sounds good to me, man. i like the guitar.

as far as the singing goes, in my opinion youre just not opening up enough. its something i do too sometimes. you really just have to open up and not be afraid to really sing those notes. more confidence/practice will help for sure. take bigger, deeper breaths from your gut when you sing too

Thanks Dan. I never realized how important breathing was until I realized I was doing it all wrong and heard the difference when playing it back. I will definitely try taking some deeper breaths from the gut next time around. Opening up is still proving to be difficult for me but I feel like I am starting to get a little more comfortable each time I sing so hopefully that will come in time. I appreciate the listen. Thanks again.
