Its a cool song. Not really my style. Sounds like an album closer if you know what I mean. I like the "I miss you..." part, cool vocal melody. Would have liked to hear more mandolin and violin though.

m98ter wrote:That one will have some violin and mando on it soon enough....obviously no one here really cares, but we played a show last night and were offered "representation." We got an offer from a production comany to help with some demo/travel costs, and show booking...pretty exciting really. We haven't said yes yet, but the guy seemed sincere on the fact that he thought we (along with him..just how it works) could probably make a little cash with the crap we call music. Have any of you guys ever heard of the band Stir? He knows their old drummer who apparently now is in production and said he could set us up a show in front of him.
Congrats man, good luck with that.

m98ter wrote:So we played a show for Brad Booker ( http://www.bookermusic.com ) last night (which we didn't know we were doing...our promoter set it up), and he basically told us to get ahold of him soon and we'll set up some kinda meeting to talk about "some stuff" as he put it. This guy isn't by any means Capitol or Atlantic records talking to us, but he has been signed to both. Should I be excited?...or worried that someone is interested? The more I think about it, the more I feel like I'd rather get screwed over by a label than never play outside of my hometown....
Jump on it. *slap*

This is the thread that just couldn't disappear to the bottom . . . not that I want it to. Just seems every time I come back, it's up top again.
