Great job!

A few questions:

How many guitar tracks are used in the recording?

What sort of mic are you using? (I'm looking to buy a decent mic... your recording is awesome.)

Thanks,
Eddy

hey thanks Eddy

I used two guitar tracks...both guitars hooked up to a Boss BR532 recorder and the mic is behringer xm2000s.
It's nothing great, if you want a really good mic I would have a look at the Shure sm58...I hear they're all that and then some.

Good luck :D

niiice =) you definatley hit some of those notes that I sure can't hit. Your guitar sounds excellent as well; this is a very good-quality recording, both sound quality and music quality. I'm a bit scared to post my 41 now hehe

I have a shure58...it isn't really all that =( but it does the job ;)

keep working on the soloing...I sucked REAL bad at the beginning (I still do in many ways)...I used to always get mad at the kids (my age) that could just wail away leads... ...and some people said, "just play alot"...and you/I think..."yeah...that really helps", but after some time of working on it, I have been making SOME improvements in remembering scales and know when to use em'...hmmm...still needs alot of work though...keep it up...try to learn some other peoples stuff...all the "leads/soloing" I do is my own style, crafted and influenced by Tim Reynolds, Steve Howe, Andy Latimar, and whoever else i can glean from...I figure, they already sis the work... ...once you learn enough of somebody elses style, it rubs off on you... keep on post'n em' 8)
