mattinbeloit wrote:Thanks for doing an Auri Hest cover, good to see more ppl. start to notice him, and this is one of his best songs. Man, the more i hear of your voice the more like it, you have a great voice, i hope you are doing some original stuff. Anway, i hope my voice matures more like yours, mine sounds too kiddy now but its getting better and lower. great job.
Thanks man, really, I appreciate the compliments, 'cause I have self-esteem problems, and I need a big head and an even bigger ego than I already have. lol. Yeah, Ari's the sh*t, I love that guy. And yeah, I've been singing for about 6 or 7 years, no voice training or anything, just keep doing it, and it'll happen for you bro. As to original stuff, I've never been much of a writer lyric wise, I've got plenty of progressions and stuff rolling around in my head, but no words. I've really gotta start writing my own stuff. Thanks again bro. Spread the Ari love.

i listened to it
by far one of the greatest cover i've ever seen here
great voice, great guitar, great settings and great quality

do u mind to post the tab ?
Ya know, that like, made my entire day. Seriously. Thanks man.

As to the tab, http://www.geocities.com/arihest/fondfarewell.html is the one that I used, but I changed a few of the chords. Just listen to my version, and follow the tab, and you'll figure it out. Great song to do solo, I do it all the time.

Bring on the love fellas. Completely heterosexual, NON-GAY, love. 8-)

Edit: Not that there's anything WRONG with gay love, it's just not the kind I'm lookin' for in this particular thread.
You are welcome. Keep posting ur stuff

Anyway, i already knew Ari Hest...some guy posted about him here sometime ago and i dled a couple shows...great artist, but i didnt find many tabs :(

Oh, and dont worry about the gay thing: Ranting Thespian isnt around anymore and i dont think Swede checks this forum very much

http://www.theahsa.com <-- The Ari Hest Show Archive, they have a bunch of tabs, not all of them, and it's an old site, but it's still active as far as I know. Ari's got so many good songs that are like, incredibly coverable, it's ridiculous. Anyways, yeah, the gay thing was a joke . . . . I love gay people.

I'm just not gay. :D
